Description

After completion of B2B e-commerce app, there was a need to measure its performance. Flicker is an ecommerce panel that gives users ability to manage sales, track leads and engage proactively with customers from anywhere, which will improve productivity by automating repetitive and mundane tasks, as well as get notified when stocks available goes below the set minimum in real time.

Tasks

Create a simple, clear and clean Dashboard to:

  • Optimize sales process and achieve total visibility with sales analytics and reporting.
    • Measure the performance of an ecommerce
    • Keep track of set yearly target and current progress
    • Show top customers and product
  • Give detailed information on online customer conversion rate (how many visits to the page led to adding item to cart vs ones that lead to checkout)
    • Show active and dormant users
    • Show top selling Categories
    • List of running product promotions

Design Process

Design process starts from defining specific UX approach that will lead the product to great result. This process adopt an iterative design thinking methodology meaning that iteration continues throughout the project life span.

I carried out qualitative research with 5 participants with a focus on analyzing and visualizing data from various sources and present it on one screen. The aim was to have the interviewees answer open ended questions based on their pain points, and goals.

Bio

John is a logistic manager at Mega wholesalers he relies on manual report to make a decision on how to order for more products from suppliers. He takes pride in meeting deadline despite how tight the schedule might be. As logistic personnel he has a lot on his table so he really values every second of his time.
